here's a turnaround in my now better mindset, what do people here like? what makes you happy? let's start with weather: sunny summer days really really windy clouded over days (fun! yes, I grew up in central Victoria, I didn't see the rain too often. I now live where it rains a lot and I love stormy weather, especially after a long dry spell. homely ) and some other really picky stuff depending on where I am etc. etc. what about everyone else?

We (family and I) just came to see the country...no particular occasion except to travel and see new places. We've done a lot of stuff, mostly hiking...it's a very beautiful country, lots of open space, glaciers, sheep, and other good things like that. We go on to Norway in a few days... Also, just for shjtls and giggles here's the Icelandic keyboard layout !"#$%&/()=Ö_ QWERTYUIOPÐ?* ASDFGHJKLÆ' ZXCVBNM;:Þ 1234567890ö- qwertyuiopð'+ asdfghjklæ´ zxcvbnm,.þ

Oh that sounds WiCkEd! I'd love to go hiking. Oh and if you like Sheep and hills and some glaciers, try New Zealand - more head of sheep than people But then you have to put up with the accent :vomit (yes, there is quite a considerable AU-NZ rivalry) Are all these countries far from your home country? (as in, where do you live haha, if you want to say)

I've actually been to New Zealand, a number of years ago...I'd like to go back though, I didn't get to see as much of the country as I would have liked. (I also visited Australia on the same trip if you were wondering ) I'm from the US, which unfortunately is pretty far from anywhere that isn't North or South America. Not that that's stopped me from going anywhere else before... xP

Oh cool! I must admit it does look like an interesting place! My Dad went there and he saw some really cool stuff, like geysers and all that. I've been to Singapore for a week but no-where else. And good on you for not being one of the ignorant yanks Where did you go in Australia?

I see that Iceland puts the " in the correct place, thankyouverymuch...
Iceland used to have the highest prices in Europe for everything. Now that their economy's collapsed and the BEST party have won the election, has this changed?

I finally have internet again Yes, Iceland is much cheaper now...that's mostly why we went, as it used to be far too expensive to travel there. We just spent the last week going down the Norwegian coast from the far north by ship, and anything we bought in the country was extremely expensive. Now we're in London for the day before returning home... kuliwil: I've never been outside of Queensland either of the times I've gone to Australia, to my memory. I'd love to see more of the country, and in particular get out into the more sparcely populated areas inland, since I like sparcely populated areas. I'm sure I'll be back at some point...
