It was on the news here - very very sad The end of an era, once again.

Did you ever watch her spin-off series, "The Sarah Jane Adventures"? It was intended for kids, but it was brilliant! I loved it - I watched it on iPlayer though as it was usually on about 4pm on the CBBC channel for kids who finish school between 3 and 3:30 - not very useful when you have lectures 'til 5 on average and you're usually in halls anyway so would need to pay for a TV licence at £400pa - not worth it...

I know about it, but it was never broadcasted here. We only get the "normal" Dr Who eps here. I totally watched a re-run on the ABC just before! In addition to not having the Sarah Jane adventures, we don't have TV licenses

can't watch the vid atm but will later.
We actually get the BBC world service here occasionally, radio and TV, and often get news reports from the BBC. The BBC is very friendly with the ABC.
